Found a stale number in a guide? Sitting on a term sheet clause that doesn't match anything we've published? Want to argue about SAFE math? Good — that's what this page is for. We read everything, and we answer most of it ourselves, usually within a couple of business days. Corrections get priority, because a wrong number on this site can travel further than a wrong number in your inbox.

Two ground rules, stated up front so nobody wastes a stamp. First: we can't review your specific deal or tell you what to sign. That's legal advice, and we're not a law firm — the guides exist so you can walk into your own counsel's office already knowing the terrain. Second: the more specific your note, the more useful our reply. "The 409A section confused me" gets a shrug; "the 409A section says twelve months, but our auditor refreshes after every inside round — which is right?" gets a real answer and probably a fix to the page.
